Zephyr Squash – Pick when 4–6 inches long for the best flavor and tender texture.
Zucchini – Harvest at 6–8 inches before they get too large.
Pattypan Squash – Best picked when 2–4 inches across and still tender.
Kale – Pick the outer leaves first and leave the center to keep growing.
Dragon Tongue Beans – Harvest young, flat, and crisp before the pods begin to bulge.
Tomatoes – Pick when fully colored and they come off the vine with a gentle twist.
Eggplant – Harvest when glossy and firm before the skin becomes dull.
Cucamelon – Pick when grape-sized for the perfect crunchy bite.
Swiss Chard – Harvest outer leaves as needed and let the center continue producing.
Beets – Best harvested when 2–3 inches across. Don't forget the delicious greens!
Lettuce – Pick outer leaves for continuous harvest or cut the whole head when full.
Daikon Radish – Harvest when 8–12 inches long and about 1–2 inches thick.
Basil & Other Herbs – Snip stems just above a leaf pair to encourage bushier growth.
