Kids eat free - Fall and Winter
“So many foods!!” There is so much joy in watching kiddos grow up in these gardens, and we want to make this possible for as many families as we can! In partnership with @theplotrestaurant we launched Free Range Kids over the summer, offering free kids meals through July and August. Moving into fall and winter, we will offer our “kids to eat free” program Mondays and Tuesdays for lunch and dinner. Come hang in the garden and let the little ones roam free!

Join us weekly on Tuesday at the Tremont community garden for fun in the soil, with friends and some delicious food!
We are working hard to keep the garden thriving and productive, and would be grateful for your help!! Bring gloves, a hat and a water bottle. We will provide a refill station and snacks. No RSVP needed!
The Community Garden is located on 1728 Tremont street in Oceanside CA.

I am deeply in awe everyday for the magic Jessica and Davin Waite have built on the side walk on tremont st. in South Oceanside. This is a garden where you can come grab what you need🥕🌽🌱
Love is everywhere here. You can find, heirloom corn, tomatoes, eggplant and so much more as the butterflies and the bees keep you company.
It's pretty magical if you ask me.
I have recently pledged with @natgeosociety to plant seeds to support pollinators since they are the heartbeat of our ecosystems. I can't wait to plant the seeds!

This Kale is not that kale.
There’s something really special, and satisfying, about growing your own food.
You can taste the difference, and nothing compares to watching something you’ve planted go from seed to a fully grown vegetable, fruit, herb or leafy green, like kale.
Chef Davin spends hours in the garden every week: planting, watering, weeding, trimming, harvesting, and paying attention to what the garden needs and what might spark the next dish. It’s a lot of work and it doesn’t always look pretty… but it gives him and our culinary team the chance to grow delicious things, cook with them, and share them with you at the table. Feeding our friends, family, guests and community… that’s what makes it all worth it.

Sometimes it’s not a recipe. Sometimes, it’s Mother Nature.
Growing food at a restaurant doesn’t mean producing everything — it means paying attention. Letting the garden shape the conversation, inspire new ideas, and create parameters that push creativity in unexpected directions. Our tasting menu changes because the garden changes, and that’s part of the fun.
